When living out in the sticks it’s always jolly decent of one
to think of others (said in a very English accent).
With my lack of imagination when it comes to all things
cooking like, I asked a friend if she could make use of a bowl of sloes we’d had
soaking in gin for over a year and blackberries we’ve had soaking in dark
rum. She put them to good use mixing them into posh chocolate ~ such a great idea. I
opened the front door blurry eyed on a Sunday morning to find our bowls returned with eggs inside laid by
my friends beautiful hens.
